Food is art, and we eat with our eyes first. Palate/Palette is a print magazine dedicated to the intersection of art and pastry, featuring the work of both artists and pastry chefs alike, whether they are artists-turned-chefs or the other way around. Palate/Palette features a serif, high contrast typeface (Baskerville) to imply a more refined publication, with accent texts of Gastromond and Hiragino Sans. The heavy use of white space and also strong, bright colors give each page breathing space while drawing the reader in.
